I am located in the east bay area of California, in the city of Concord.
Delivery to your home within Calif.
I will deliver within Ca. (buyer pays a gas fee to and from the destination depending on distance), and if it is a long driving distance (over 300 miles total to and from) then I will need to get a rental car, which is also to be paid for by the buyer, and it's about $50-60+/- for 1 day rental w/protect./coverage fees. The car would be rented under my name, not yours. This amount of $50-60 is only if we meet very early before 9:30 am so I have better chances on getting the car returned that same day. If you want me there any time after 9:30 am then the rental car fee is doubled since they will charge for 2 days rental fee. The travel fees must be paid a few days in advance to the actual delivery date. The balance for your puppy can be paid in advance or you can pay on the day we arrive to your home.
Partial Delivery within Calif.
I can also agree to meet you half way within Ca. I will travel north or south. If you are in So. California (most likely we'd meet in Fresno or somewhere near there) and you would only need to pay for gas (about $50+/-). The travel fees must be paid a few days in advance to the actual delivery date. And, you can pay for your puppy in advance or you can pay on the day we meet up.
Shipping
I Will ship out domestically & internationally (charges are different for international travel-please inquire), buyer pays shipping costs, which will likely be $300 total for domestic travel. This $300 covers the actual airline charge & insurance, travel crate, food and water trays, interstate health certificate & exam, gas, toll bridge, parking. In the event the shipping charges add up to be less than $300 then you will be refunded the extra overpayment. Once you have already paid your $300 you will not be charged anything over that for shipping. If the charges go over $300 then the additional charges will come out of the price of the dog. The shipping charges and dog price must have arrived to me at least 3 days in advance to the planned shipping date.
I have been shipping my puppies out for about 8 years now and never had a problem (maybe it's because I do the shipping personally and I do not hire a shipping agency to do it for me-"if you want it done right, do it yourself!"). I get reports back that they have ALWAYS arrived safely without any problem with the airlines or with stress. A plane flight isn't that big of a deal to a puppy that is healthy from the start, confident in himself and taught not to fear his crate, or the car/travel. Puppies will ship at the earliest age of 10 weeks if they are an average or larger size puppy, and 12 wks. or older if they are average or small sized. Puppies going internationally will not go until they are 4-5 months old.
If you are having your puppy shipped and would like to have the start up supplies package mentioned in detail on the information page of the site, then you will have to mention it because there will be a charge of $20 to ship it to you (since it will need to be shipped via usps separately from the dog).
